Hadley’s Point Campground offers campsites and cabins that meet the needs of varying campers. We have tent sites for those who enjoy primitive camping. Electric & Water and Full Hookup for those who travel with a camper and cabins for those who want to camp yet enjoy the comforts of home. Wild Acadia Camping Resort

Located in the beautiful Downeast Maine region, Wild Acadia Camping Resort is just minutes from Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park.
Wild Acadia Camping Resort has a variety of camping options from simple tent sites to full big rig pull throughs with full hookups. Best of all there is plenty of fun things to to do on site. During our peak season (May 27-29, June 3-4, and June 9th – Labor Day) our attractions include our two 300′ waterslides, new wading pool with spray ground and dumping bucket.

Cold River Campground boasts acres of forest trails with quiet and inviting campsites. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring for an afternoon picnic or late-night s’mores. Making parking easy with our pull thru sites in Bear Corners or park near our amenities in The Burrows for our newer adventurers.
We also offer lodges, glamping sites and cabins for those who love to camp but still want a bed to put their head on at night. We are within an hour of Bar Harbor and Acadia. We are across the Penobscot river from beautiful Bangor Maine. We are the perfect stopping point if you are heading to or from Canada and the Maritimes.

In 1989 we began a new life on a Maine farm. The uniqueness of this historic property on an enormous pristine lake brought delight to us and our children and gradually we realized that we wanted to share our special corner of the country with others. So – we started talking and planning until in 2017 we began permitting for our RV park and campground. After being granted our Maine DEP permit in 2019, we broke ground and are looking forward to hosting our first guests in 2023.
Come fish, kayak, and relax beside your fire at Big Lake RV. You’ll explore the lake, pond, open fields, and woods – creating memories that will last a lifetime.
